Delivery

Most items are held in stock and will be despatched to you within 2 working days of receiving your order. However, due to the fact that many of our items are handmade by the artist and are from all corners of the globe, some out of stock items can take several weeks to arrive. Therefore if you require any item of jewellery for a specific date we would recommend that you contact us so we can give you a more specific delivery schedule for the item you are interested in.

Delivery to all addresses within the UK (including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Highlands & Islands, and BFPO) is FREE of charge. Delivery to all non-UK addresses is charged at £6.50 per order.

Please note that Raucous Rocks do not deliver to PO boxes

Packaging

Packaging Raucous Rocks will package your item FREE of charge. We will use appropriate gift packing for the size and type of item purchased. Typically a beautiful high quality gift box, organza 'bomb' or bag. Larger items such as handbags will be wrapped in tissue. Where ever possible we will use postage envelopes which will allow the postman to deliver directly through your letterbox. However larger orders may be sent in a box and / or may require a signature. You can opt to have your order sent to your work place, or an alternative address.

Gift-Giving

Gift Giving Raucous Rocks is ideal for gift-giving. Your chosen items will be sent directly to your recipient, beautifully presented with no record of how much you have paid. Raucous Rocks also offer the option of sending your recipient a lovely hand finished greetings card, with your personal message printed on the inside. This gift-giving service in entirely FREE of charge, just select the appropriate options at the checkout. During the run up to a special event like Christmas, Valentines day, Mothers day etc, we will print your message into an appropriate card. However if your message is for any other purpose we will print it in our standard card as shown in the picture.

Paying for your order

Raucous Rocks accepts most credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Switch and Delta. We operate a sophisticated secure on-line processing system via Wordplay; one of the world's largest credit card processing companies. It is completely secure and uses an encryption process ensuring that no-one sees your security details, not even us! If you are shopping outside the UK, your credit card company will automatically convert the transaction to your local currency. For your convenience there is a handy currency converter on the site. Raucous Rocks reserve the right to decline any orders that do not pass the Address verification system.

Once you have successfully placed your order you will receive two automatic confirmation emails - one from Worldpay, containing your payment details, and one from us, containing your order details.

Should there be an error in the description or price of goods Raucous Rocks will offer you the choice of purchasing the item at the correct price, or cancelling the order.

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase so we offer a full 7-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. If you change your mind for any reason whatsoever within 7 days of receiving your purchase just return it to us for a refund. We simply require that your purchase is returned unworn and in its original condition, complete with its original gift packaging. Please note that we cannot accept the return of pierced earrings or items that have been made to your own specifications.

Returning Goods to Us

Please Contact Us before returning any items, stating what you are returning and the reason for the return, we do not accept returns that we have not been informed about.

We strongly recommend that you use registered post. We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in the post. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us unless we have delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.

Refunds

Once your returned item has been received by us, your refund will usually be processed within 5 working days. You will be notified by email when we have processed your refund.

Vouchers

Discount vouchers are to be used only when valid. All voucher codes are checked on receipt of the order to confirm legitimacy. If a discount code has been used incorrectly you will be offered the choice to continue the purchase at the correct price, or cancellation of the order. In the event of disagreement any decisions made by the Company will be final.

Measurements

Raucous Rocks specialises in choosing items with maximum flexibility in size, making most pieces suitable for all. However this page details more specific measurement information to help you make your purchase. Where ever possible we will also try and make items for you where we don't carry your size, just use the “contact us about this item” button when viewing the item you are interested in for more information.

It is a good idea to measure some of your own jewellery as a size comparison. If you are in any doubt please contact us for more help with a specific item, and remember any item that is the wrong size can be returned or swapped no problem within seven days.

Necklaces

Many of our items are described as being “suitable for neck sizes 1, 2 or 3” This is to give you an idea of how the piece will look on your own body frame.

Neck Size 1:: This is a “below average size”: Typically you struggle to find pieces on the high street that are small enough to look right on your neck. More often than not chains with pendants hang too low, and chokers look too big. In order to have a chain sitting snugly around your neck so the pendant is in the collarbone area, you require a 14" or 35cm chain. (will be a link to chain options page)
Neck Size 2:: This is an “average size”: Typically you have no problems finding pieces on the high street that fit, they are about right. In order to have a chain sitting snugly around your neck so the pendant is in the collarbone area, you require a 16" or 41cm chain
Neck Size 3:: This is an “above average size”: Sometimes you struggle to find pieces on the high street that are long enough to look flattering on your neck. More often than not chains with pendants hang too high, and chokers look too small. In order to have a chain sitting snugly around your neck so the pendant is in the collarbone area, you require a 18" or 46cm chain

Bracelets

Generally speaking bracelets tend to measure between 17.5cm and 20cm with most having different fastening points making them suitable for most people. We have wherever possible tried to give measurements for each bracelet. If you have a large wrists and are worried about fit, cut a strip of paper measuring the length of the bracelet you are interested in, and wrap around the wrist to check the size, or measure one of your own bracelets as a comparison. Most of the elasticised bracelets are suitable for any sized wrist unless specified.

Rings

We try to keep a good range of sizes in stock, but if a size you would like is not listed, please contact us and wherever possible we will try to have a ring made for you in a larger (or smaller) size free of charge.

Universally there are many different ways to measure ring size. Raucous Rocks uses the UK ring measurement or Wheatsheaf system.

How to find your ring size

You can take one of your (or your gift recipient's) existing rings into any jewellery shop and ask them to measure it for you. Or you can ask your local jewellery shop to measure your finger with a series of rings. Both these methods take seconds and will be free of charge.

Alternatively you can measure your own size as follows:

Take a very thin strip of paper and wrap it snugly around your finger.
Mark with a pen where two bits of paper over lap.
Lay the strip of paper flat and measure this length with a ruler in Millimetres.

This measurement is the Metric size. Look on the table below for the UK ring size equivalent. We have also shown estimates for other countries ring sizes here, in case you already know your size in another country's measurement.
